This vintage specimen presents as a solid mid-grade example. While the centering is respectable for the era, the grade is primarily determined by the moderate rounding on the corners and visible edge wear.
Centering: 7 / 10
The front displays a vertical shift toward the bottom, while horizontal centering is excellent.
Corners: 3 / 10
Front: All four corners show moderate rounding and visible whitening consistent with handled vintage stock. Back: The corners on the reverse side mirror the wear on the front, with significant softening and touches of white.
Edges: 5 / 10
Front: Visible chipping and minor fraying are present along the right and bottom edges. Back: The reverse edges show light chipping and general wear along the perimeter.
Surface: 6 / 10
Front: The surface shows mild age-related toning and minor print snow common for the 1952 set, but no major creases. Back: The back shows natural foxing and light surface wear but remains free of ink marks or stains.
