This vintage 1954 Topps Preston Ward card maintains good overall eye appeal with solid surface preservation and respectable centering for the period. However, the grade is constrained by the significant rounding found on all four corners, which places it in a Good to Very Good condition range.

The card shows a clear shift toward the left side horizontally, though the top and bottom borders appear equal.
Corners: 2 / 10
Front: All four corners exhibit significant rounding and softening consistent with extensive handling, particularly the Bottom Right and Top Right corners. Back: The corners on the back show similar heavy rounding and whitening to those seen on the front.
Edges: 6 / 10
Front: Minor chipping and light fraying are present along all four edges, which is expected for a 70-year-old card. Back: The edges on the reverse show consistent light wear and minor softening of the card stock.
Surface: 7 / 10
The front surface presents well with typical vintage print snow and minor scuffing, but no heavy creases or deep scratches are observed.
