This 1961 Fleer card is in high-grade condition for its era, featuring sharp corners and excellent surface preservation. The final grade is determined by the front centering, which shows a significant horizontal shift that falls within the acceptable range for a Near Mint grade.

The front displays a heavy left-to-right centering bias, while the top and bottom margins are nicely proportioned.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners are impressively sharp for a vintage issue, with only the Top Left showing a microscopic touch of wear. Back: Corners on the reverse are crisp and show very little evidence of handling or aging.
Edges: 8 / 10
The edges are clean and straight, exhibiting only the light, natural roughness typical of early 1960s factory cutting.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The surface is smooth with strong color and no creases; only very light, era-appropriate print speckling is visible. Back: The back is very clean and free of any staining, wax marks, or discoloration.
