The grade is primarily determined by the moderate corner wear and rounding visible on both sides, as well as the typical rough-cut edges. While the centering and surface are superior for the era, the physical wear at the corners limits the overall condition.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: Front centering is exceptional for this era, with very balanced borders on all sides. Back: The back has a noticeable top-to-bottom shift, resulting in a thin bottom border.
Corners: 3 / 10
Front: All four corners show moderate rounding and visible whitening, with the Bottom Left corner being the most impacted. Back: The corners exhibit significant wear and rounding, particularly at the Top Right and Bottom Right.
Edges: 4 / 10
Front: The edges display the characteristic rough cut of the period, featuring moderate chipping and fraying along the Right edge. Back: Chipping and light fraying are visible along both side edges and the bottom.
Surface: 6 / 10
The surface is generally well-preserved, though some minor print snow is visible in the orange field and a small mark is present on the Left border.
