This 1957 Topps issue presents in beautiful condition with a particularly strong front appearance. The final grade is supported by the nearly ideal front centering and crisp surface, though it is tempered by the noticeable centering shift on the reverse and light corner wear visible on the back.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front displays excellent centering, with the left border appearing slightly narrower than the right. Back: The reverse is significantly shifted toward the right side, which is common for this era of production.
Corners: 7 / 10
Whitening is visible across all four corners on the reverse side, consistent with light handling wear.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges are clean and intact, showing the typical slightly rough cut found on authentic vintage stock. Back: Minor chipping and light shelf wear are present along the perimeter of the back side.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is exceptionally clean with vibrant color and a high-quality finish for a vintage card. Back: The back surface is free of any gum or wax staining and exhibits only natural age-related toning.
