The grade is primarily determined by the moderate corner rounding and the chipping prevalent on the delicate black borders of this 1971 vintage issue. While the surface and back remain in good condition, the physical wear at the corners and edges limits the overall assessment.

The front shows a clear shift toward the bottom right corner.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: All four corners exhibit visible rounding and whitening. The Top Right corner shows the most significant wear with a small ding and loss of black ink. Back: The corners on the reverse show moderate rounding and whitening consistent with the wear seen on the front.
Edges: 6 / 10
The sensitive black borders show frequent chipping and small nicks, particularly along the Top and Right edges.
Surface: 8 / 10
The main photo area is clean, though several small white specks from surface chipping are visible within the black border frame.
