A MACK JONES from the 1971 TOPPS set, card #142. This is a great addition to any MONTREAL EXPOS collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 7
This card is in excellent condition for its age. The final grade is primarily limited by the vertical centering on the front and minor touches of wear on the upper corners. The delicate black edges have held up remarkably well with only very minor chipping.
Centering: 7 / 10
A noticeable vertical shift toward the bottom edge is present, while the side-to-side alignment is much closer to centered.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: Minor touches of wear and tiny bits of whitening are visible on the Top Right and Top Left corners. The bottom corners remain relatively sharp. Back: The corners on the reverse side show light touches of wear consistent with the front, particularly at the Top Left.
Edges: 8 / 10
The sensitive black borders show very fine, pinpoint chipping along the Top and Right edges, which is typical for this era.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is exceptionally clean with no visible scratches, creases, or print defects. Back: The reverse surface is well-preserved with sharp text and a clean finish.
