This Gordie Howe card presents excellent eye appeal with a very clean surface and sharp colors. The final grade is primarily determined by the left-heavy centering on the front of the card.

The front is noticeably off-center toward the left side, though the vertical alignment is relatively balanced.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The Bottom Left and Top Right corners show very slight touches of wear, while the other two remain quite sharp. Back: Minor whitening is visible on the corners, consistent with typical wear for a card of this vintage.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges are clean overall, with only a small amount of chipping visible on the right side. Back: The edges show the standard rough-cut texture often found on 1970s stock.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The surface is exceptionally well-preserved with high gloss, vibrant colors, and no evidence of scratches or creases. Back: The back is clean and bright with no staining or marks.
