This card is a solid mid-grade example of a notoriously difficult vintage set. The final grade is determined by moderate chipping along the sensitive black edges and significant horizontal centering shifts on both the front and back.
Centering: 6 / 10
The front horizontal centering is shifted heavily towards the right side.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: Minor touches of whitening are visible on all four corners, which is typical for this condition-sensitive black-bordered set. Back: The corners on the reverse side show light micro-fuzzing but maintain a relatively sharp appearance overall.
Edges: 6 / 10
Moderate chipping and white specks are evident along the Top and Left edges where the black ink has worn away.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is very clean, showing deep color and no significant scratches or creases. Back: The reverse surface is clean and free of any wax stains or age-related toning.
