This 1960 Topps Bob Hale is a high-quality vintage example. While the corners and surfaces remain in excellent condition for the era, the final grade is primarily limited by the centering on both the front and the reverse side.
Centering: 7 / 10
Front: The front displays a clear shift toward the bottom right, with the left and top borders appearing noticeably wider. Back: The reverse side is heavily shifted toward the left edge, though the design remains fully intact.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners show minor touches of wear and very slight softening, particularly at the Top Left and Top Right. Back: Small amounts of whitening are visible on the corner tips, consistent with the card's age.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges are generally well-preserved with only minor roughness visible along the top border. Back: Light chipping is present along the left edge, but the card stock remains firm.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is excellent, retaining strong color and showing no significant scratches or creases. Back: The back is clean and free of staining, showing only natural age-related toning of the cardboard.
