This 1954 Bowman card is a well-centered example that presents beautifully. The final grade is determined by moderate rounding on the corners and typical edge chipping for the era. The surface remains bright despite a few minor vintage print artifacts.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front is centered exceptionally well, showing only a very slight shift toward the left edge. Back: The back centering is strong, with a minor shift toward the top and right edges.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: Both bottom corners show moderate rounding and whitening. The Top Left corner has a minor touch of wear, while the Top Right remains relatively sharp. Back: All four corners show rounding and exposure of the card stock, consistent with handled vintage condition.
Edges: 6 / 10
The edges show typical chipping and minor roughness, most notably along the right and top edges.
Surface: 6 / 10
A light vertical surface mark is visible passing through the helmet area. Some minor print snow is present in the blue background.
