A VERNON LAW from the 1954 BOWMAN set, card #187. This is a great addition to any PITTSBURGH PIRATES collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 2
This card presents significant wear typical of a heavily handled vintage piece. The grade is primarily restricted by a heavy horizontal crease across the center and advanced rounding on all four corners.
Centering: 7 / 10
The horizontal centering is excellent, while the top border is significantly thinner than the bottom.
Corners: 2 / 10
Front: All four corners show significant rounding and wear, with a visible fold at the Top Left corner. Back: The corners on the reverse side are heavily rounded with pronounced whitening.
Edges: 4 / 10
Chipping and light wear are visible along the entire perimeter of the back edges.
Surface: 2 / 10
Front: A heavy horizontal crease runs across the center of the card, accompanied by some surface staining in the nameplate area. Back: The central crease is clearly visible on the back, which also shows significant age-toning.
