This card presents exceptionally well for the 1971 Topps set, which is known for extreme sensitivity to wear. While the centering and corners are very strong, the grade is primarily limited by chipping along the black-inked edges.

The front displays excellent symmetry, with a very slight bias toward the top and left edges.
Corners: 8 / 10
Each corner shows very minor touches of white on the black border ink, but they remain square and structurally sound.
Edges: 6 / 10
Moderate chipping is visible along the bottom and right edges, which is typical for this specific black-bordered issue.
Surface: 8 / 10
The black surface is mostly clean, though some light print dusting is visible in the upper header area.
