This 1954 Topps issue is in impressive Near-Mint condition. The front is exceptionally clean with sharp corners and strong eye appeal. The final grade is primarily determined by the minor edge roughness and corner wear visible on the reverse side, as well as the standard vertical centering shift common to this set.
Centering: 9 / 10
The front displays a slight horizontal shift toward the left and a mild vertical shift toward the top.
Corners: 8 / 10
The corners on the reverse side show very minor touches of wear and faint micro-fuzzing under close inspection.
Edges: 7 / 10
The edges on the back show some minor roughness and light chipping consistent with vintage card stock.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is bright and clean, showing no significant scratches or print defects beyond standard age-toning. Back: The back surface is well-preserved with clear, legible text and no signs of staining or surface damage.
