This vintage Menko card retains excellent eye appeal and high surface quality. The grade is primarily limited by the moderate rounding found on all four corners and the characteristically irregular, hand-cut edges typical of the production standards for this era.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front displays excellent centering for the period, with very little horizontal or vertical drift. Back: The back is noticeably shifted toward the top left corner.
Corners: 4 / 10
The Top Left and Top Right corners show significant rounding and some minor fraying of the fibers.
Edges: 6 / 10
Front: The edges are somewhat irregular and rough-cut, with a slight inward curve on the Left edge. Back: The edges exhibit minor chipping and the characteristic rough texture of vintage Japanese Menko cards.
Surface: 8 / 10
The back shows minor age-related toning but remains free of ink marks or major staining.
