A JOE LIS from the 1971 TOPPS set, card #138. This is a great addition to any PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 7
This vintage rookie card is in attractive condition but is limited by chipping along the sensitive black-inked edges and moderate centering shifts. The corners show standard touches of wear for a card of this age, while the surfaces remain excellent.
Centering: 7 / 10
The front displays a moderate left-to-right shift and a slight bottom-heavy orientation.
Corners: 7 / 10
Front: All four corners exhibit minor touches of whitening and micro-fuzzing, which is typical for this high-sensitivity black border stock. Back: The corners on the reverse show similar minor wear and slight softening at the tips.
Edges: 6 / 10
Visible chipping and small white nicks are present along the black edges, most noticeably on the left and top edges.
Surface: 9 / 10
The surface is remarkably clean for the era, showing strong gloss and only faint print artifacts in the dark upper header.
