1962 TOPPS BABE RUTH 143 EX MCG 5 GREATEST SPORTS HERO BASEBALL NEW YORK YANKEES

A BABE RUTH from the 1962 TOPPS set, card #143. This is a great addition to any NEW YORK YANKEES collection.

Graded by Mint Condition: 5

The grade is primarily governed by the moderate left-heavy front centering, accompanied by minor tip softening on the Top Left corner.

Centering: 7 / 10
Front: Front centering is horizontally off-center, with the right border noticeably wider than the left border. Back: Back borders are well balanced, with no significant centering deviation detected.

Corners: 4 / 10
Front: Top Left corner shows light softening at the tip, while the remaining corners remain remarkably sharp for this vintage woodgrain issue. Back: Bottom Right corner exhibits light touch of wear at the tip, with the other three corners presenting clean factory shape.

Edges: 8 / 10
Front: Left edge shows minor vintage factory roughness, but the woodgrain borders are exceptionally clean overall. Back: All four reverse edges are clean and intact with no noticeable chipping or fraying.

Surface: 9 / 10
Front: Surface is clean and free of creases; dark tones and markings in the upper image area are part of the original photo rather than defects. Back: The reverse cardstock is clean and bright with no staining, writing, or paper flaws.
