This is a remarkably well-preserved vintage Japanese baseball card. It is held to a grade of 8 primarily due to the vertical centering on the front, despite its near-pristine corners and edges.

The front horizontal centering is virtually perfect, while the top border is noticeably thinner than the bottom.
Corners: 8 / 10
The corners on the reverse side show minor touch and standard fiber softening consistent with the cardboard stock.
Edges: 9 / 10
The edges on the back are well-preserved, showing only minor natural roughness from the original factory cut.
Surface: 9 / 10
The front surface is bright and clean. There are some minor print dots characteristic of the era's lithography.
