This 1959 Topps card is in excellent condition, highlighted by sharp corners and a very clean surface. While the front horizontal centering is within acceptable limits for a high-grade vintage card, the 80/20 centering on the reverse necessitates a slight reduction in the final overall assessment.
Centering: 7 / 10
The card is shifted toward the left edge, resulting in a heavier right border. Top and bottom margins are exceptionally balanced.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: All four corners are impressively sharp for a vintage issue, with only the faintest touch of micro-fuzzing visible on the Bottom Right. Back: The corners on the reverse remain well-defined, showing only minor touches of shelf wear consistent with its age.
Edges: 8 / 10
Minor chipping and natural wear are visible along the Left edge of the reverse side.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The surface is remarkably well-preserved with vibrant colors, a clean gloss, and no evidence of scratches or creases. Back: The reverse shows standard age-appropriate toning but is free of any staining, marks, or surface damage.
