This 1972 Topps Gene Tenace is a sharp vintage specimen with excellent centering and strong front eye appeal. The technical grade is primarily limited by the characteristic rough-cut edge chipping visible on the reverse, which is common for this era.
Centering: 9 / 10
The front centering is slightly favored toward the bottom-left but remains very strong for this vintage set.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The Top Left and Top Right corners show minor touches of wear; the bottom corners appear sharp. Back: Slight whitening and very minor rounding are visible on the corner tips of the reverse.
Edges: 6 / 10
Noticeable chipping and rough-cut fraying are present along the Top and Right edges on the reverse.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is highly preserved with excellent color and no discernible scratches. Back: The reverse surface is clean with no signs of staining or print defects.
