This is an exceptional example of a 1972 Topps card. The centering on the front is superb, and the corners and edges are significantly better than average for this set. It lacks any of the common surface issues or wax staining frequently seen on vintage issues.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front is nearly perfectly centered horizontally, with a very slight shift towards the top edge. Back: The back centering is shifted noticeably toward the top edge, though it remains within acceptable limits for a high grade.
Corners: 9 / 10
Front: All four corners are remarkably sharp for a vintage card, showing only the faintest micro-fuzzing consistent with original card stock. Back: The back corners are well-defined and free of rounding or significant whitening.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: The edges are clean and straight with virtually no chipping of the green ink along the frame. Back: The edges on the reverse are smooth and show no significant signs of wear.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The surface is clean with vibrant colors and no visible scratches or print defects. Back: The back surface is pristine, lacking any wax stains or common pencil marks from the period.
