This 1972 Topps Johnny Briggs is in outstanding condition. While the vertical centering on the front is shifted toward the bottom, the card's surface integrity and sharp corners are far above average for this era. The minor factory roughness on the edges is consistent with the manufacturing standards of the time and does not detract significantly from the overall presentation.

The front shows a clear vertical shift toward the bottom and a slight horizontal shift to the left.
Corners: 9 / 10
Front: The Top Left corner shows a tiny touch of wear. The other three corners are exceptionally sharp for a vintage issue. Back: All four corners on the reverse side are clean and maintain their original structure.
Edges: 8 / 10
The Left edge exhibits some minor factory-cut roughness typical of the 1972 Topps set.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is clean with bright colors and no visible scratches or print defects. Back: The reverse side surface is well-preserved with no signs of staining or discoloration.
