This 1972 Topps rookie card is in excellent condition, boasting great surface quality and nearly perfect horizontal centering. The final grade is determined by the light touches of wear on the corners and the vertical centering shift on the front.

The horizontal centering is exceptional, while the top border is slightly thinner than the bottom.
Corners: 7 / 10
Front: The Top Left and Bottom Left corners show minor touches of whitening. The corners on the right side are sharp. Back: Very light wear is visible on the corners of the reverse side, consistent with the front.
Edges: 10 / 10
Front: All four edges are very clean and show no signs of chipping or fraying. Back: The edges on the back are well-preserved and remain crisp.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The surface is remarkably clean with vibrant colors and no visible scratches or print defects. Back: The reverse surface is free of any stains, wax marks, or significant abrasions.
