A BOB PORTERFIELD from the 1959 TOPPS set, card #181. This is a great addition to any PITTSBURGH PIRATES collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 5
Moderate horizontal off-centering on both the front and reverse serves as the primary limiting factor on an otherwise well-preserved vintage card with light corner softening.
Centering: 7 / 10
Front: Front centering is horizontally off-center, with the right border noticeably wider than the left border. Back: Back borders are well balanced, with no significant centering deviation detected.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: Top Left and Bottom Left corners show light fiber softening consistent with vintage stock while retaining clean overall geometry. Back: Bottom Right corner shows the most visible wear with a touch of minor tip softening.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: All four edges are relatively clean with only minor factory cut roughness. Back: Edges remain solid with light age-consistent toning.
Surface: 8 / 10
Front: Surface is well preserved with strong color saturation and no noticeable creases or abrasions. Back: The reverse card stock is clean with crisp text and typical light natural aging.
