This vintage 1972 Topps card is an excellent specimen, characterized by near-perfect centering and a very clean surface. The minor touches on the corners and slight edge wear are the only factors precluding a higher mint assessment.
Centering: 10 / 10
Front: The centering on the front is outstanding, with virtually equal borders on all sides. Back: The reverse exhibits a moderate shift toward the top edge, though it remains well within acceptable standards.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners are remarkably sharp for the era, with only the slightest evidence of micro-fuzzing visible upon close inspection. Back: The corners on the reverse show uniform, very light wear and minor softening at the tips.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges are extremely well-preserved, showing only trace amounts of natural factory roughness along the right side. Back: Very light chipping and minor toning are present along the top and bottom edges of the back.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The surface is exceptionally clean, maintaining a bright appearance with no visible scratches or print defects. Back: The reverse surface is free of any staining, marks, or significant blemishes.
