This 1970 Topps card is in outstanding condition, particularly for a vintage football issue. It features excellent centering and surfaces that are largely free of defects. The slight touch of wear on a single corner is the only factor preventing a higher grade, making this a very high-end example of the card.

The front displays strong centering with a very slight bias toward the Top Left.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners are impressively sharp for the era; only a tiny touch of whitening is visible on the Top Left corner. Back: The corners on the reverse are well-preserved, showing only a trace of micro-fuzzing on the Top Right.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: The edges are clean and remarkably smooth, showing no significant chipping or handling wear. Back: All four edges on the back remain sharp and consistent.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The surface is exceptionally clean, retaining high gloss and original color without any visible scratches or creases. Back: The reverse surface is pristine, completely free of the wax staining common to this series.
