This 1972 Padres team card is in excellent condition, featuring a high-quality surface and mostly sharp corners. The final grade is primarily limited by the vertical centering shift and minor corner touches.

The front displays a visible downward shift, making the top border noticeably thicker than the bottom.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The Top Left and Top Right corners show very minor touches of wear, while the bottom corners remain sharp and well-defined. Back: Minor touches are visible on the upper corners, typical for a vintage card of this era.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: The edges are clean overall, with only the slightest hint of natural factory cut roughness on the Right edge. Back: The edges on the reverse appear crisp and well-preserved.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is exceptionally clean with vibrant colors and no visible scratches or print defects. Back: The brown cardstock on the reverse is clean and free of any staining or wax marks.
