While the card possesses excellent surface quality and strong corners for its age, the overall grade is heavily limited by a manufacturing defect in centering. The top border on the front is a sliver, which necessitates a lower technical grade despite the high quality of the other attributes.

The front has a severe top-heavy alignment where the top border is a sliver. The left border is also moderately thicker than the right.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners show very minor touches and slight softening, particularly at the Top Right and Top Left corners, but they remain quite presentable for a vintage issue. Back: Minor touches and light whitening are visible on the corners of the reverse side.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges are generally clean with only very minor instances of shelf wear visible along the physical cut. Back: The reverse edges show slight chipping and minor wear along the top and left sides.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is remarkably clean and vibrant, showing very little of the typical print snow or scratching found on 1952 issues. Back: The back is well-preserved with clean text and minimal age-related toning.
