This is an outstanding example of a 1970 Elvin Bethea card with condition characteristics that typically suggest a much higher grade. However, because the vertical centering is shifted significantly toward the bottom, the final grade is adjusted to reflect that centering deviation.

The centering on the front is shifted significantly toward the bottom edge.
Corners: 9 / 10
Front: The corners are remarkably sharp for a card of this age, with only a tiny touch of wear visible on the Top Right corner. Back: The back corners are equally impressive, showing very little of the typical whitening found on vintage cards.
Edges: 10 / 10
Front: The edges are clean and straight with no visible chipping or factory burrs. Back: The edges on the reverse side are in excellent condition.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The surface is exceptionally clean, featuring vibrant colors and a smooth finish free of scratches or creases. Back: The back surface is pristine, with no signs of wax stains or print defects.
