This 1972 Topps Cleveland is a high-quality vintage example with excellent eye appeal. While the front corners and edges are strong, the grade is primarily limited by the severe vertical centering shift on the reverse side.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: Horizontal centering is virtually perfect, while the top border is noticeably thinner than the bottom. Back: The reverse side is heavily shifted toward the top edge, though it remains well-centered side-to-side.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The Top Left and Top Right corners show very minor touches of wear. The Bottom corners remain quite sharp for the era. Back: All four corners on the reverse show light touches of whitening consistent with careful handling over time.
Edges: 8 / 10
The edges are remarkably clean for this specific vintage set, with only a few tiny specks of chipping visible on the Right edge.
Surface: 9 / 10
The surface is bright and clear, showing only a few minor factory print dots in the blue background area.
