This Victorian Stevengraph is a well-preserved piece of history. The central silk image remains vibrant; however, the technical grade is constrained by the severe upward centering shift of the silk within the mount and the natural age-related toning and corner rounding expected for its era.

The mount is severely off-center, with the silk portion positioned very close to the top edge.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: The corners of the card mount show moderate rounding and some softening of the card stock. Back: The corners on the reverse exhibit age-appropriate rounding and minor fraying at the tips.
Edges: 6 / 10
Front: The edges show some light wear and minor chipping consistent with its 19th-century origins. Back: The edges of the mount show uniform wear and light toning along the cut lines.
Surface: 4 / 10
The back surface shows significant age-related toning and several spots of dark foxing.
