A NUMBER 1 from the 1967 PHILADELPHIA set, card #197. This is a great addition to any CHECKLIST collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 2
The grade is heavily restricted by severe surface and structural issues, specifically a deep horizontal crease through the center and multiple handwritten ink marks in the checklist boxes. Significant corner rounding and edge wear further contribute to the overall low condition estimate.
Centering: 9 / 10
The front layout is fairly well-centered within the yellow field, showing only a slight shift to the right.
Corners: 2 / 10
Front: All four corners exhibit significant rounding and wear, with the Top Left and Bottom Left corners showing the most advanced softening. Back: The corners on the reverse side are heavily rounded, particularly the Top Left corner which also shows significant chipping of the brown border.
Edges: 3 / 10
Front: The edges show constant wear and minor fraying, especially along the Top and Left edges. Back: Significant chipping is visible throughout the brown-bordered edges, most notably on the Right edge.
Surface: 2 / 10
Front: A prominent horizontal crease runs through the center of the card. Additionally, multiple checklist boxes have been filled in with ink marks. Back: The central horizontal crease is visible on the reverse, and several checklist entries have been marked with black ink.
