This 1955 Topps Bob Turley is a high-quality vintage example featuring excellent centering and impressive eye appeal. The grade is limited to a 7 due to minor touches on the corners and typical surface print characteristics common to this set.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front displays excellent symmetry with only a very slight bias toward the top and left edges. Back: The reverse side is well-centered with a minor shift toward the bottom and right.
Corners: 7 / 10
Front: The Bottom Right and Top Right corners show minor touches of whitening and very slight rounding. The left corners remain relatively sharp for a vintage card. Back: All four corners exhibit minor softening and light whitening consistent with the card's age.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges are generally clean, though some minor chipping is visible along the left border and a tiny nick on the top edge. Back: The edges on the reverse show typical vintage cardboard fiber fraying but no significant damage.
Surface: 7 / 10
Front: The front surface retains vibrant color and strong gloss. A faint vertical print line is visible in the yellow field near the top, along with a few minor print spots. Back: The back shows light age-appropriate toning and minor print 'snow' in the green areas.
