This 1954 Topps card is in excellent condition overall, boasting a clean surface and relatively sharp corners for a vintage issue. The final grade is primarily limited by the centering, which shows a moderate shift toward the top-left on the front.

The front displays a moderate shift toward the left and top edges, though borders remain clearly visible on all sides.
Corners: 7 / 10
Front: The Top Left and Top Right corners show minor touches of wear and very slight softening. The bottom corners remain relatively sharp. Back: Similar to the front, the top corners show light evidence of handling with minor fuzzing at the tips.
Edges: 8 / 10
The edges are generally clean, with only very minor shelf wear visible along the Left edge.
Surface: 9 / 10
The surface is remarkably clean for the era, showing bright colors and a glossy finish. Two faint vertical print lines are present near the right side of the main portrait.
