While the card's surface, edges, and corners are in exceptional condition for a 1961 issue, the final grade is strictly limited by the severe factory miscut. The centering is shifted so far to the top-right that the top border is nearly gone, which is the primary factor in this assessment.

The front is severely miscut toward the top and right edges; the top border is essentially non-existent.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners are remarkably sharp for a vintage card, with only a tiny touch of wear visible on the Bottom Left corner. Back: Back corners show light micro-fuzzing consistent with age, but remain structurally sound.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: Edges are clean and straight, although the right edge is nearly flush with the printed design. Back: The edges show very minor shelf wear but no significant chipping.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is excellent, retaining strong color and showing no visible scratches or creases. Back: The back surface is very clean with no wax staining or markings in the blank 'Make-A-Photo' area.
