A ROY SIEVERS from the 1951 TOPPS RED BACKS set, card #9. This is a great addition to any ST. LOUIS BROWNS collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 4
This 1951 Roy Sievers card is exceptionally well-centered for its age. However, the final grade is constrained by moderate wear to the corners and edges, including significant rounding and whitening consistent with a mid-grade vintage specimen.
Centering: 9 / 10
The front displays excellent alignment for the era, with only a very minor bias toward the upper left corner.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: All four corners show significant rounding and visible whitening, indicative of moderate handling over time. Back: The corners on the reverse side mirror the front, showing softening and exposure of the paper stock.
Edges: 5 / 10
Front: The edges exhibit noticeable chipping and whitening, particularly along the top and bottom borders. Back: Small nicks and general edge wear are visible along the perimeter of the red design.
Surface: 8 / 10
Front: The surface shows typical vintage aging, including minor foxing and a few small dark spots in the lighter zones. Back: The red ink remains bright and clear, with only light surface scuffing and minor signs of handling.
