This 1951 Topps Red Back is in excellent condition for its age. The final grade is determined by minor corner wear and a surface line on the reverse, while the front remains visually impressive.

Front centering is exceptional for this era, showing nearly ideal vertical alignment.

Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners show very minor touches of whitening and light wear consistent with a well-preserved vintage card. Back: Slight whitening is visible on the rounded corners of the reverse side.

Edges are smooth with only a small amount of shelf wear visible on the lower portion.

Surface: 7 / 10
A faint vertical line is present running from the top to the bottom edge on the center of the back.
