The card exhibits exceptional physical preservation for a 1965 issue, featuring sharp corners and a remarkably clean surface. However, the final grade is severely constrained by the manufacturing defect of extreme right-side centering, where the design sits dangerously close to the edge of the card.
Centering: 3 / 10
The centering on the front is heavily right-shifted, with a nearly non-existent right border. The top and bottom centering is slightly top-heavy but within acceptable vintage standards.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: All four corners are impressively sharp for a vintage issue. There is only a trace of micro-fuzzing visible at the Bottom Left and Bottom Right corners. Back: The reverse corners are clean and well-preserved, showing only minor touches of wear consistent with careful storage.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: The edges are clean and straight with no significant chipping or fraying visible. Back: The edges on the reverse appear sharp and free of the typical chipping often found on cards from this set.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is bright and clean, showing excellent color and no evidence of scratches or creases. Back: The back shows light age-toning typical of 1960s card stock but remains free of stains or damage.
