This 1956 Topps Brooks Lawrence is in exceptional condition for its age. The centering is remarkably strong for the issue, and the surfaces are near flawless. Only minor touches on the front corners and slight edge roughness prevent it from a perfect assessment.

The front has very well-balanced centering with a minor shift toward the top edge.
Corners: 7 / 10
The Top Right and Bottom Right corners show a micro-touch of wear. The other two corners remain quite sharp.
Edges: 9 / 10
The edges are clean with just a hint of original factory stock roughness along the bottom.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is excellent, with vibrant color and no visible scratches or print defects. Back: The reverse surface is clean and free of the common wax or gum stains typically seen in this set.
