While the card possesses excellent centering for a 1951 issue, the final grade is heavily restricted by a severe horizontal crease through the center and significant rounding on all four corners.

The centering on the front is excellent, with the image well-positioned within the borders.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: All four corners show significant rounding and visible whitening of the card stock. Back: The reverse corners mirror the wear seen on the front, with blunt rounding and fiber exposure.
Edges: 4 / 10
Front: The edges exhibit general wear and minor chipping throughout, most noticeably along the top edge. Back: Wear is consistent along all edges on the back, with some fraying visible at the physical cut lines.
Surface: 2 / 10
Front: A prominent horizontal crease runs across the center of the card through the player's jersey. There are also several small surface stains in the background. Back: The central crease is clearly visible through the text on the reverse. The card shows natural age-related toning.
