A JOE MUIR from the 1952 TOPPS set, card #154. This is a great addition to any Pittsburgh Pirates collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 3
This card is technically a miscut due to the top edge design nearly touching the physical cut of the card. This, combined with significant corner rounding and prominent tape stains on the surface, limits the final assessment to a Good condition.
Centering: 3 / 10
The front is heavily miscut toward the top edge and moderately shifted toward the right.
Corners: 3 / 10
Front: All four corners show significant rounding and softening of the card stock, with the Top Right corner showing the most advanced wear. Back: The reverse corners show heavy rounding and noticeable whitening consistent with the front.
Edges: 4 / 10
Front: The edges show significant chipping and wear throughout, particularly along the Bottom and Right edges. Back: Wear and chipping are visible along all four edges on the reverse.
Surface: 3 / 10
Front: A prominent yellowish tape stain is visible on the center of the Right edge, and another stain is present over the player's name. Back: The surface shows heavy age-toning and various small stains. Tape residue is also visible on the edge corresponding to the front damage.
