1953 BOWMAN COLOR BOB PORTERFIELD 22 VG-EX MCG 4 BASEBALL WASHINGTON SENATORS

A BOB PORTERFIELD from the 1953 BOWMAN COLOR set, card #22. This is a great addition to any WASHINGTON SENATORS collection.

Graded by Mint Condition: 4

Light softening on the corners and a top-heavy vertical centering deviation on the front limit the final grade.

Centering: 7 / 10
Front: Front centering is vertically off-center, with the bottom border noticeably wider than the top border. Back: Back borders are well balanced, with no significant centering deviation detected.

Corners: 3 / 10
Front: Bottom Right corner shows the heaviest wear with light softening and slight tip rounding. Back: Bottom Right corner exhibits minor age-related softening, while remaining corners show only light touches.

Edges: 8 / 10
Front: Top edge shows faint vintage roughness, but all borders remain intact and sharp. Back: All four edges are crisp and clean with only minor factory cardstock texture.

Surface: 8 / 10
Front: The gloss and color registry are well-preserved; flagged background marks are part of the original photo composition rather than physical defects. Back: The reverse surface is clean and clear with standard vintage paper toning and no staining or creases.
