The card is in excellent structural condition for a 1953 issue, featuring sharp corners and clean edges. However, the final grade is primarily limited by prominent red ink writing on the reverse surface and a significant centering shift toward the left edge on the front.

The front centering shows a noticeable shift toward the left edge.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners are impressively sharp for a vintage card from this era, with only a minor touch of wear at the Top Left corner. Back: All four corners on the reverse show light, uniform wear consistent with a well-handled vintage card.
Edges: 8 / 10
The back edges are smooth with only minor age-related toning along the card stock.
Surface: 3 / 10
There is prominent red ink writing across the biographical section in the center of the card back.
