This 1956 Topps card is in outstanding condition for its age. While it suffers from a common vertical print line on the front and moderate vertical off-centering, the corners and edges are significantly sharper than typical examples from this era.
Centering: 7 / 10
The horizontal centering is nearly perfect. There is a visible shift toward the bottom, resulting in a thicker top border.
Corners: 9 / 10
Front: The corners are remarkably sharp for a vintage issue. Only the Top Left corner shows the faintest hint of micro-fuzz under magnification. Back: All four corners on the reverse are well-preserved with only minor touches of whitening visible on the upper corners.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: The edges are clean and straight. A very minor amount of natural shelf wear is present along the bottom edge. Back: The reverse edges are excellent and free from significant chipping or fraying.
Surface: 8 / 10
The surface is bright with great color. A vertical red print line is visible running through the right side of the card, which is a common manufacturing characteristic.
