This vintage card is in Good condition. The grade is primarily limited by the moderate rounding of the corners and the significant rightward centering shift on the front. The surface and edges show wear typical for a card from the 1940 Play Ball set.

Corners: 3 / 10
Front: All four corners show moderate rounding and softening consistent with its age, with the Top Right corner exhibiting the most significant wear. Back: The reverse corners mirror the front with uniform rounding and light fiber softening at the tips.
Edges: 4 / 10
Front: The edges show general softening and minor chipping throughout, particularly along the Bottom edge which shows a rougher factory cut. Back: The edges on the back show moderate wear and slight toning along the perimeter.
Surface: 5 / 10
Front: The surface has an even layer of age-toning and a few minor scuffs, though the central image remains clear. Back: The back shows typical vintage toning and a few small spots of discoloration, but the text remains fully legible.
