While the card is remarkably well-centered for a 1940 issue, it shows significant physical wear consistent with an older vintage card. The grade is primarily limited by the heavy rounding of all four corners and visible surface aging, including a light crease on the front and staining on the back.

Front: All four corners show significant rounding and wear, losing their original sharp points. Back: The corners on the reverse are heavily softened and rounded, matching the wear seen on the front.

Front: Moderate wear and minor chipping are visible along all four edges. Back: The edges on the back show consistent fraying and aging across the perimeter.

The reverse shows significant age-related toning and a dark stain near the bottom edge.
