This vintage card is in Very Good condition, primarily held back by the significant rounding and wear on all four corners. While the centering is exceptionally strong for a 1940 issue and the surface is free of major structural defects like creases, the cumulative wear on the corners and edges limits the overall grade.

Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front displays remarkably well-centered borders across all sides. Back: The reverse side is almost perfectly centered horizontally with a very slight shift toward the top.

Corners: 3 / 10
Front: All four corners show significant rounding and visible whitening consistent with their age. The Top Right corner shows the most pronounced wear. Back: The corners on the reverse side mirror the front with heavy rounding and softening of the card stock at the tips.

Edges: 5 / 10
Front: The edges show moderate chipping and shelf wear, particularly visible along the Top and Right edges. Back: The back edges exhibit light fraying and typical age-related wear along the perimeter.

Surface: 7 / 10
The back surface shows more pronounced browning and toning than the front, though the text remains clear and legible.
