A SID HUDSON from the 1955 BOWMAN set, card #318. This is a great addition to any BOSTON RED SOX collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 4 This vintage card presents well but is primarily limited by significant corner wear and edge chipping. While the centering and surface remain in decent condition for the year, the rounding of all four corners necessitates a mid-range grade. Centering: 9 / 10 Front: The front is shifted slightly toward the Top Left, though the borders remain well-defined. Back: The back centering is quite strong, with only a very mild shift toward the top. Corners: 4 / 10 Front: All four corners show moderate rounding and visible whitening of the card stock, consistent with age. Back: The corners on the reverse side show similar rounding and softening as the front, particularly at the Top Left and Bottom Left. Edges: 5 / 10 Front: The edges exhibit frequent chipping and whitening, most notably along the Top and Bottom edges. Back: There is consistent light chipping visible along the perimeter of the card's back. Surface: 8 / 10 Front: The surface shows typical print snow for the era and mild age-related toning, but remains free of major scratches or creases.
