This vintage Bowman card presents exceptionally well from the front, but the final grade is determined by the moderate wear and rounding found on the corners and edges of the reverse side.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front displays very strong centering for the 1955 Bowman set, with only a slight bias toward the top-left. Back: The reverse is well-centered within the margins, showing a balanced layout.
Corners: 3 / 10
The back corners show moderate rounding and whitening of the paper stock, typical for a card of this vintage.
Edges: 5 / 10
Moderate chipping and shelf wear are visible along the top and bottom edges of the reverse.
Surface: 8 / 10
Front: The front surface retains good color and clarity, with only minor print snow in the darker areas. Back: The reverse shows natural age-toning and very light surface soiling, but remains free of creases.
