This vintage tobacco disc presents in Good condition. While the centering is exceptional for the issue, the grade is primarily limited by a notable area of surface loss on the front and significant oxidation on the metal rim.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front insert is excellently centered within the frame of the metal rim. Back: The reverse design shows a minor shift toward the upper edge.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: As a circular disc, the rim serves as the corner equivalent; it shows significant age-related oxidation and minor pitting throughout. Back: The reverse rim displays moderate to heavy oxidation and shelf wear consistent with its age.
Edges: 4 / 10
Front: The circular metal edge is worn and shows significant darkening and rust-like oxidation across the entire circumference. Back: The reverse edges show heavy toning and oxidation, typical for tobacco issues of this era.
Surface: 2 / 10
A significant area of paper loss is visible in the upper left section near the brand name. The remaining surface shows moderate foxing and dirt accumulation.
